Fashion Trends for Spring 2018

If I were, to sum up, this season’s fashion trends, it would be Empowered Femininity - a bolder twist on classic sophistication and feminine touches like ruffles, satin, Cinderella shoes, kitten heels, and pastels.

The biggest trends to hit the runways include:

• Sparkle - Whether it’s sequined clothing or bejeweled shoes, the sparkle is IN!
• Sheer Fabrics - Sheer fabrics are showing up in coats, dresses, skirts, tops, and pants!
• Fringe - Fringe has been a popular embellishment since the 1920s (think flapper dresses and skirts). Today’s popular fringe fashions include jackets, skirts, dresses, and pants!
• Ruffles - Ruffled sleeves and collars, skirts and pants are all the rage this season.
• Pastels - Pastels always seem to emerge as a popular fashion trend in Spring but, this year, Lavender is the preferred pastel.
